Good afternoon Ignite Youth Ministries and everyone else who checks in... Thank you for reading and watching our videos. Sunday morning we talked about our quite time with God and how we need to get away from distractions. Sometimes we can get overwhelmed with all of the distractions that the world offers. The Word tells us this in Isaiah 30:15 For thus says the Lord GOD, the Holy One of Israel: “ In returning and rest you shall be saved;
In quietness and confidence shall be your strength.” .

God is challenging us to go the quiet places in him. To be still and know that he is God. It is in those times that he will restore our strength, heal us, speak to us louder than ever before, or simply just spend time with us. These are the moments that will define ourselves through him only if we allow him to.

I challenge each of you and myself to return to our quite time with God when we get a way with no distraction and only God. Find your secret place, this is pleasing to the Lord. Look up Psalms 91.

Isaiah 40:31

But those who wait on the LORD
Shall renew their strength;
They shall mount up with wings like eagles,
They shall run and not be weary,
They shall walk and not faint.

Announcements and Thought of the Week

Hey guys I just wanted to drop in and say hi to guys again. I'm sorry that there is another video this week for some reason I am having trouble loading it. I just wanted to remind you that there is Drama Practice this Sunday from 2pm to 4pm in the Sanctuary. Also we are going to have a Super Bowl Party at Darrin and Prudie Thomas house in Middlesboro, Ky. If you need directions please call me at 606-269-0983. The party will start at 6:00 pm Sunday night. So instead of coming to the church your parents can drop you off at there house starting 5:30. Bring some friends and plan on hanging out, fellowshipping and spending some time with Jesus.
